On Sunday it was a close tussle between two reality shows, but without their “room reveal” episode, The Block is being convincingly beaten by My Kitchen Rules.
That said, it is still Nine’s best performer. Meanwhile The Biggest Loser lived up to its title, landing in fifth place behind SBS.
Seven network won the night with 33.6% then Nine 29.6%, ABC 17.3%, TEN 14.4% and SBS 5.1%.
My Kitchen Rules (1.67m) topped the night for Seven then Seven News (1.09m / 1.03m), Winners and Losers (922,000), Home and Away (920,000) and Million Dollar Minute (461,000). Parenthood was 291,000.
The Block (1.23m) led Nine then Nine News (1.14m / 1.09m), A Current Affair (1.05m), Hot Seat (582,000), repeats of Big Bang (525,000 / 420,000 in 3 cities) and 2 Broke Girls (512,000 / 351,000). Two and a Half Men was 263,000.
ABC News (839,000) topped ABC1 followed by New Tricks (673,000), 7:30 (606,000), Family Confidential (569,000) and At the Movies (449,000).
TEN Eyewitness News (582,000) was best for TEN then NCIS (523,000), NCIS: LA (470,000), The Project (466,000 / 306,000). The Biggest Loser was last in its timeslot behind SBS at 322,000.
On SBS ONE it was Queen Victoria’s Children (323,000), Insight (223,000), Dateline (138,000) and World News Australia (125,000).
Neighbours (302,000) was best on multichannels for ELEVEN.
