X Factor powering home for Seven

2013-10-15_1007The X Factor is powering home in its final weeks for Seven following concern that audience favourite Dami Im was at risk of being eliminated.

Dami was safe as judges tied over Jordan Tiolli and Third Degree with the former being sent home. Seven pulled 1.64m viewers for the show which, combined with The Blacklist on 1.3m viewers, gave Seven another ratings win.

Seven network share was 33.7% then Nine 26.6%, ABC 20.1%, TEN 15.6% and SBS 4.0%.

Also for Seven were Seven News (1.19m), Today Tonight (1.07m), Home and Away (1.00m), but Million Dollar Minute was defeated (527,000). Scandal was 440,000 and Mistresses was just 150,000.

Nine News was best for Nine on 1.2m then new eps of The Big Bang Theory (1.07m / 1.04m), ACA (975,000), a volatile Big Brother episode (856,000), 2 Broke Girls (672,000), Hot Seat (596,000) and Two and a Half Men (438,000).

Australian Story (976,000) topped ABC1 then ABC News (911,000), 7:30 (819,000), Four Corners (649,000), Media Watch (602,000), Q & A (554,000) and Audrey’s Kitchen (426,000).

TEN Eyewitness News (630,000) was best for TEN followed by The Project (584,000). Trailing The Bold and the Beautiful (467,000) were Homeland (405,000), A League of Their Own (344,000) and The Simpsons (336,000).

It was also a quiet night for SBS ONE with What Makes us Human? (191,000), Storm City (174,000), World News Australia (165,000) and Legally Brown (158,000).

Neighbours led multichannels with 305,000. American Horror Story was just 112,000.
