X Factor tops Monday but GEM gives Nine the night

2013-08-13_0909The X Factor sang up another storm on Monday with 1.42m viewers and securing the top show of the night.

While Seven inched in front of Nine on primary figures, it was an 8% share on GEM that helped Nine to a network win/

Nine network was 32.7% then Seven 29.0%, ABC 17.9%, TEN 16.3% and SBS 4.1%.

Following The X Factor for Seven was Seven News (1.32m), Today Tonight (1.16m), Home and Away (957,000), Mr Selfridge (823,000), Deal or No Deal (542,000), Mrs Brown’s Boys (427,000) and Hotel Secrets (208,000).

Nine News (1.32m) led Nine then Hamish and Andy’s Gap Year Asia (1.23m), A Current Affair (1.14m), Big Brother was under the magic million at 972,000, Hot Seat (741,000), Big Bang Theory (577,000 / 440,000), 2 Broke Girls (154,000 in 2 cities) and Footy Classified (113,000 in 3 cities).

ABC News (965,000) topped ABC1 followed by Australian Story (839,000), 7:30 (746,000), Q & A (624,000), Four Corners (586,000) and Media Watch (559,000).

MasterChef (724,000) was TEN’s best then TEN News (706,000), a 2013 high for The Project (671,000) then Wanted (474,000). The Simpsons was 394,000 and The Americans was 196,000.

On SBS ONE it was Mythbusters (207,000), The Truth about Taste (184,000), World News Australia (182,000), Housos (178,000) and Bogan Pride (135,000).

Ashes series (489,000 / 239,000) on GEM was best on multichannels.

Sunrise: 364,000
Today: 338,000
ABC News Breakfast: 65,000 / 41,000
