My Kitchen Rules has pulled in another 2.12m viewers for Seven for the second night in a row -which should be a lesson for critics saying television is dead.
The show was biggest in Sydney at 594,000 viewers followed by Melbourne’s 571,000 and Brisbane’s 421,000, but losing a villain may hurt the show. It was no contest as Seven won the night.
Seven network share was 35.3% then Nine 29.1%, ABC 17.2%, TEN 14.3% and SBS 4.0%.
Seven News was 1.1m / 1.07m for Seven then Home and Away (998,000), Winners and Losers (962,000), Million Dollar Minute (474,000) and Parenthood (373,000).
The Block was 1.19m for Nine then Nine News (1.17m / 1.08m), Big Bang (1.17m / 1.03m), ACA (938,000), Hot Seat (638,000), 2 Broke Girls (599,000 / 434,000) and Two and a Half Men (306,000).
ABC News (839,000) was best for ABC1 then New Tricks (672,000), Family Confidential (655,000), 7:30 (609,000) and At The Movies (410,000).
TEN’s best was TEN Eyewitness News (575,000) followed by The Project (558,000 / 342,000), NCIS (530,000), NCIS: LA (475,000). The Biggest Loser was 328,000 and Modern Family was 235,000.
Insight (170,000), Who Do You Think You Are? (161,000), World News Australia (126,000) and Dateline (111,000) made up the night for SBS ONE.
Neighbours led multichannels at 299,000 while ONE has now lost its Olympics crowd back to a 1.8% share.
